Hi

 1. Before leaving for any destination, check with weather.com and if the forecast calls for rain - throw in a travel-size umbrella or a lightweight raincoat. The kind that packs into its own pouch is best.

  2. Make sure that every piece of clothing that goes into your carry-on does double duty meaning you can wear it more than once.

  3. For major pieces (dress, pants, skirt) it's best to stick with solid colours and classic styles. You can break up the monotony with colourful scarves, accessories and tops.

  4. Stick with two or three basic colours that easily mix and match.

  5. Take one coat, cropped jacket or shawl that goes with everything from jeans to evening wear.

  6. Don't rquote t throw an evening bag into a carry-on empty. Use it to carry jewelry and a scarf and make sure it can double as a day-time clutch. (i.e. Avoid the gold and glitter look and go with patent).

thanks for sharing this great tips..
i would like to share some tips..

1. security and keeping details safe. Scan your passport, passport photos and paper tickets in. Store it in your email account and also store the details of your emergency 'lost card' telephone numbers in your email account so you know who to contact if your credit card or ATM card is stolen. this way, even if you lose everything, you have immediate access to your important information. You can even email the details page of your passport to the embassy or consulate when applying for a new one.

2. Split up your valuables. Split up your bank cards, cash, travellers' cheques and credit cards as much as possible in different pockets, your bags and wallet when packing. In case you do get robbed, at least you won't be strapped for cash
